Dave, I felt the same about giving up my C4S. I swore I was going to keep that car forever. Funny thing though. The day my TT arrived, I got over it real quick!
I sold my C4S to someone I know and he loves the car just as much as I did and keeps it in a heated garage. 
My TT is a dream car. I have gone to some events lately with Ferraris, Lambos, Aston Martins, etc., and I would not trade my car for any of them - it is the perfect car and it is my daily driver. The wait is really hard - you will see!
