I'm getting a turbo !!!!!!!!!!!
 

The first Porsche I ever drove was a 930 that belonged to a family acquaintance back around 1980 or so. Ever since then my dream car has been a 911 turbo.

I've been going back and forth on the issue of waiting for a PDK/DFI turbo which probably won't come around until MY10. The acceleration numbers for the C2S released by Porsche this week make the PDK seem very attractive but there's no guarantee that I'll even like driving such a tranny (my guess is I will like it).

So when my dealer called me to let me know that he has 1 November build MY09 allocation, I decided to take it!

I'll post more once I start laying out the specs but I am heavily leaning toward an Orange 6-speed such as the one shown below belonging to SlowMotion.

Perhaps I'll end up trading it in on a PDK/DFI car in a few years....only time will tell. What I do know is that I am going to spec this out with absolutely everything that I want!

November build with potential for 3-6 month delay for paint to sample means next Spring I'll be in Orange.
