Perhaps the 996TT owner should use turbochargers that do not feature 20+ year old technology?

Let me know when you get a car in the UK with your modern wares on it and I will for sure arrange the same test - I've heard the talk and seen the chassis dyno sheets but I'd love to have my sceptism proven wrong

swap out the old style turbos for garret GTX turbos/Precision turbos and im sure the VTG advantage would decrease substantially.

Chuck and Neil are correct.

TB, you have an awesome fast car but comparing it to another car that's so different isn't really a meaningful comparison.

To answer the brake boost question, PCM will turn off your power if you try to brake boost. Only way I know to be able to brake boost was my old Motec setup and it ran like shite. Tuning of these cars has come a long way, and maybe someone's found a good way to hack into the PCM to allow brake boosting, full turn off, etc., but I'm not aware of it.
