Clear bra question

My car came with clear bra in the front, I noticed that it is easy to see water spots on it and it is not easy to remove. I plan on getting the car waxed soon, do they just wax right over the clear bra? will it help on the water spots like it would on a waxed clear coat finish?

I also noticed on the very edge of some sections it is peeling a little, not too noticeable to an extent where I want to remove it. Does anyone have any luck with the clear bra? or should i just remove them? if I remove them, will it be a DIY where I just peel it off? or do you need some sort of solution to remove it?

If done right, the film should not be lifting. As far as waterspots are concerned, you should be washing and waxing the film on a regular basis to protect the film from such harsh elements. If you'd like, drop on by and we can see what can be done about the film on your car.

That raises an interesting question: How to treat the stuff? I've been told Plexus and Rejex.

What do you recommend?

Thanks!

We've been using Plexus / Rejex. We may have found an even better product for the film that we are now testing. Will post once we have it available.

Wilson or Sam:

Please advise what this new product is ASAP. I am not 100% satisfied with Rejex. Hard to explain, but doesn't have that deep, glossy factor. I assume it is for Ventureshield? Thanks in advance!

I use Plexus on my Ventureshield and Rejex on my Proline Windshield film - happy with both so far.

Plexus is a good plastic cleaner, but it may not be the best. Rejex is good as well, but it leaves a slight haze to the surface that hides the shine on black. We have some products that will be announced in approximately 1-2 months.

I have the 3m bra, looks ok, but always see the seem. Doubt I'd do it again.

this is why having the full panel covered is chosen by most of our Porsche, Lamborghini, and Ferrari owners. Once covered by us, it is undetectable unless you look at the wrapped points.
