Is it true that the stock BRV's lose boost on the top end when the car is flashed?

The aftermarket DV's will make throttle response little
better plus hold the boost.

Make sure to double check and clean them after while.

Also make sure to use good DV's coz lower quality DV's will leak them damage ur turbos

From what I remember, diverter valves should not be confused with blow-off valves. Blow-off valves will give you the whoosh sound while the diverter valves used in Porsche turbos are not released directly into the atmosphere which in-turn reduces the whoosh sound significantly.

There are probably a ton of good options for upgraded diverter valves, just buy one backed by a decent company. I would recommend against a vent to atmosphere setup (like an HKS blow off valve or similar), they cause more problems than they solve at most power levels.
