2012 Porsche 911 Turbo - Goodbye Rear Spoiler!!
#21
That is exactly what I think.
I am sure the turbo will have its spoiler as it has always had.
This is a mule car for testing! It is meant for hiding/Misleading!
What reported by matt599 is no officially coming for Porsche

Certainly there will be no shortage of aftermarket suppliers more than willing to step up to the plate, if this were to be the case.
Don't envision their flagship model sans wing, unless despite the additional HP created by AWD, it'll be speed limited as well, negating the need

Looking forward to this car! No way Porsche scraps the typical large rear spoiler on the Turbo models. Only thing cosmetically I don't like at this point is the Cayenne style side mirrors.
I like the non turbo and GT 911s sans large rear wing. I prefer a smaller TechArt Type I rear wing look.

Just like DJ said, it is going to have a wing when it's debuted. It's just a very early mule based on the Carrera. Porsche saw no reason for giving this mule Turbo style aero because of the low speed testing, so they just cut some holes in the side and rear end for the intercoolers. The rest is all Carrera body, and no Turbo.
