Odd 996TT / GT2 on Cars.com

Was bumbling through the ads today and saw this...

2001 Porsche 911 Turbo, $39,990 - Cars.com

Hopefully that URL works. What caught me off guard was the Yellow (what appear to be PCCB's) on the car which is listed as a 2001 996TT. But its got the PCCB's, GT2 Front Bumper, Wing, GT2 Badges on the rear bumper and on the inside rear seat area, seat delete's...

Is this a GT2'ed out 996TT or a real GT2 that the Chrysler dealership selling it is unaware of (kind of hard to think that with the VIN being able to ID the car correctly).

What do you guys think? I'm not a big enough GT2 officiando to know the subtle differences.

Definitely a TT, look at the front ride height.

It's just a TT with GT2 add on's but the GT2 badge's was added, and rear seats removed kinda lame to do that!

i had an 01' TT with the same add-on's exterior wise but left the badge off!

I am guessing TT because of the front height, no sport seats, etc. I am not positive but I would have guessed the engine bay to say something GT-ish (but maybe not) and the gauges.

^^ Good call on the ride height.

Agreed on the badge... I love the GT2 bumper and wing but i'd never put a GT2 badge on a non-GT2. That's just wrong!

Still has the seat belts in the back too. GT2s probably never had that.

Nikolas is an unknown quantity at this point
Definitely a TT. However those are not cheap mods. Given the mileage it is a great price. I would ditch the badges though.

100% 996tt, NOT Gt2. Ride height and rear seat belts is a DEAD giveaway...

Also, if your interested in the car, look into whether the front bumper and rear decklid with spoiler are OEM or not...
