That's the 991 turbo hiding under 991 Carrera camo,that's my guess

 

I'll like it I'm sure but all the camo shots look the same to me as well.

I'm truthfully holding out for the 991 GT2.5LE RS S and won't settle for anything less.

 

I hope you're right. If you are, that means this Turbo is going to be SERIOUSLY fast if they are working this hard and early on it. This mule does look to have a much wider body as well. I hope this Turbo is more GT3 and less lux.

Looks to me like a retractible rear wing. Stealthy. But I like the GT2 look much better myself. Something in between would be preferable for me.

To me, the Turbo model needs a tail.

 

We'll probably see a Turbo a bit less than a year after the base models roll out. I think they're starting development so early because Porsche wants this iteration of the Turbo to be absolutely the best it can be.

If you look closely around the exhaust area, you'll find that the entire lower back end of this car is a bulging piece of camo, hiding a large amount of (*cough*TURBO*cough*) styling lines.



And check out the widebody hips in this picture! They're so curvy and delicious!



I think the Turbo will still get a wing, though. There is no point on doing aero testing out in the freezing cold. That's also probably why this mule is wearing a Carrera front. Besides, the wing probably hasn't even been fully developed yet. I wonder when we'll start to see GT3 mules?

EDIT: Check out this comparison that I found of widebody vs. narrow body. Huge difference! Wider is so much curvier!
