That is definitely the new turbo. I hope they do away with the cheap plastic inserts for the ducts on the rear fenders that they have been using for the last few years. The ducts on the 993 turbo s looked amazing. Looking at the photo it looks like the center bar in the duct is actually molded in the body and not plastic which would look great. Love the curvy rear fenders. I have always thought the wide body without a big wing was visually more appealing so if they come up with a good looking automatic wing I think it might be ok. Just wish they would come up with a better solution for the front driving lights....have never liked those.

Big arse for sure, but not wide, moreso tall. Is there new regs for how big these rear bumpers and such need to be because all new cars seem to be suffering from this.

It could be a Turbo with normal Carrera back for camuflage...
It could be also a Carrera 4S with Turbo-style air intakes for camouflage...
Very hard to say at this stage...

Not sure about any new regulations concerning the rear of the car, but those pedestrian frontal crash regulations have definitely affected the front of all new cars. No more needle-nosed cars in our future. Gotta save the children...

From what I've heard the tail lights have to be a certain height off of the ground, as per rear end crash regulations. As in the Panamera, I imagine seeing a sharp styling line in the rear bumper to compensate for the increased height.

Remember though, there is a HUGE and thick junk of camo in the rear of all of the test mules. The final result will look slimmer and skinnier.

Those are some big ass hips. And I like the idea of a Turbo sans ricer wing.
