[QUOTE=Tommy6030;881314]Absolutely and you guys have a great product range. I'm not saying that APR is bad either, just that there is better when it comes to the Porsche scene[/QUOTE
Disagree. I have had well over two dozen ECU, headers and exhaust utilizing the ARP products in 997 TT's. Mind you I have no dog in the fight, it's a local shops work, not mine. All have been flawless. Huge power with no issues other than a O2 sensor.
Better? I would question that.

ECU does not have to get removed. Entire process takes about an hour.

Much of the negative feelings/vibes/responses engendered by any APR posts are, quite honestly, the fault of APR. They may or may not make a superior 997tt tune. Since they have steadfastly refused to produce ANY remotely objective proof to back up their claims over the last three years, despite being asked for same by many members on this and other forums, it is very difficult to take them seriously anymore. They have refused to come to the aid of one of their oldest vendors (GMP) at a time when serious, pointed, honest questions were asked about their methodology and results.
Their results on track are most impressive. They have a new, very high-profile deal with Audi to run the R8 "client" program on a national basis. Congratulations to them for that. Early results are quite promising. I wish them, and Audi, every success. This relationship with Audi, and their previous VW deal (another very successful effort) speaks volumes about their abilities in engineering and organization, on and off the track. All of the above positives make APR's retail fiascoes just that much more puzzling. That very old fake dyno sheet (spade a spade) has cost them and their vendors way more trouble(and sales) than it could possibly have been worth. Their utter refusal to answer legitimate questions about any of their products is baffling, and inexcusable. Please show me one...even ONE... other vendor here unwilling to talk about their products or services.
APR may produce the world's finest 997TT products. In print, they say they do. Is it unfair to ask for proof?
