May Be A Stupid Question, But Here It Goes . . .

Why do some 997TTs have the round steering wheel while others have the triangular?

Is it purely an aesthetic choice? Is there any performance-based reason why one would be better than the other?

DAM is an unknown quantity at this point
Multifunction versus standard sport wheel, multifunction is an option, it has stereo/cruise buttons

But my 2007 997TT has a triangular wheel with no multi-function but I test drove another 2007 997TT that had a round steering wheel - also with no multi-function.

Standard Steering Wheel is what you have
Two options are the triangular multi-function and the Round thicker sport steering wheel.

Thanks DJ. That makes sense. My steering wheel was the standard - thinner - wheel, but I replaced it with the thicker Techart model.
