AWD Motorsports 996tt Getting K16 Billets & EVOMSit Tune!!!! NEW PRODUCTS ALSO!!!
We recently picked up another Gt2 for road race so i wanted to do a little testing with our 996tt since now its parked.. I spoke with Todd @ EVOMS and we agreed to do several stages of testing to offer many different packages depending on goals and budget etc..
Round 1 will be Evoms Vflow Intake, Fabspeed Catted Exhaust & AWD K16 Billet Turbos w/ Evomsit tune on 93 octane..
Tomorrow we are installing the turbos and well hopefully get onto the dyno as well to do some testing.. If not Thursday well be on the dyno tuning..
Depending where the power lands well decide what well need for round #2.. I know the car will need some more fuel, Turbo Inlet Pipes, and a Clutch.. Well test the limits and make small changes and log everything to see the true power gains back to back and after each mod.. I like to do my testing very methodically to see where the gains are coming from and where the power band moves which each mod.. Sometimes you gain 20 on top and lose 50 on bottom so each mod is not always a success depending on what you use the car for..
Below are some pics of the turbos.. 48mm Inducer.. 3mm Larger than others on the market..

Also we will be testing the newest release of Forge Wastegate Actuators.. These are on the way over from the UK to do some testing.. We will start with 1 bar springs and work our way up.. Ill have some better photos when they are in my hands.. We have the 1st 6 months Supply from Forge on these..
