Porsche adaptive seats

Hey Guys,
I have a customer who wants the new adaptive seats for his 2010 turbo cab. Who has them, and I need some input about them. I have the GT3 seats in my car. Are they the same?

Thanks in advance,
Andrew

Andrew, no, Adaptive and GT3 are not the same. Adaptive seats are the electric, luxo seats with adjustable everything. Quite comfy, and VERY heavy compared to GT3 seats. Weight difference is +- 20 lbs. EACH seat, if not more. Adaptives would be appropriate for a Cab.

Adaptive sport seats are the same as the standard GT3 seats which are sport seats without all the power functions, the shape is the same.

okay here we go.

Standard seat- 2 way power, the rest is manual adjustment with no 'sport seat back'.
Sport Seat- 2 way power, 'sport seat back'.
Full Power - multi way power seat with lumbar- no sport seat back + has driver memory

GT2- sport bucket seat- full carbon fiber seat with NO adjustment. you wear this seat like a glove.

FULL ADAPTIVE POWER SEAT. - Full power adjustability with the added bonus of more lumbar / lateral support, driver memory and sport seat back.

Marc is correct, 2009-Present GT3's do not recieve driver memory.

Below is an example of a Full Power / Adaptive Seat for the 997 Turbo, but would be the same for the rest of the 997 line; minus the GT3 and GT3RS. - and I cant speak about the GT2RS, IDK if it will or won't get the memory feature. I know the former GT2 997 had memory on the full leather/power adaptive seats.
