ECU tune!
#1
Hey guys,
I'm going to start my 1st mod. to my PDK 997.2tt, after doing extensive research i have came down to the following tuners. Pls help me decide which one should i go for.
Protomotive
FVD
Cargraphic
AWE
Softronic
Just bare in mind, a close friend of mine. Has done tuning through OBD port, and it's not going pretty well with him. After doing a little bit of research on that. Shows that some OBD based tunes for some reason pulls down the timing level with extra loads on the car due to (tracking/racing). Hence, it doesn't perform as good as the dyno results!
And that i've seen
Thank you in advance,

Thats where the problem lies. He tried two diffrent files sent from the same tuner while still the problem remains unsolved! I wouldn't deny a .03/.05 time diffrence between 1st and 2nd tune, yet the car remains and feels like stock!! Not to mension the exhaust and intercooler fitted!!!

Plenty of tunes are done through the OBD port for many cars without issue. I don't think you can go wrong with any of those options. The general rule of thumb is to pick a good tuner that can provide the best support to you in your location.
