Well the old man wanted to take the 997 turbo to the strip to see what she would put down. He tasked my brother and I with driving duties and my borther clicked off a 10.86 at 128.24mph! Then we promptly got kicked out of the strip. I still think she had a bit more in her if we launhed harder. Maybe a 10.7? The only mods to the car are Protomotive software, Protomotive upgraded VTGs and a tubi street exhaust. Also the car is a tip. God damm these cars are fast! Makes my M Coupe seem like it doesn't have motor under the hood!

Why did you get kicked from the strip? Going that fast without a rollbar?

No cage. NHRA requires any car under 11.99 to run a cage, harness, and helmet.

Yep because of no cage. I ran a 11.398 the first run with no launch and they didn't say anything. Then my brother put down a 11.28 the second run and they said that we had to keep it above 11.4. We decided screw it and went for a full launch and ended with the 10.86.
