Here's what it would look like from the rear, don't forget to lower it. Cheap way with springs or more expensive proper way with coilovers.

BTW, don't listen to the dealer about you having to get the GT3 wing to balance out the aerodynamics, he's 100% correct if you plan to track the car and if that's your main purpose with the car maybe you should get it.
Does it really have to be lowered?

Nothing HAS to be lowered, but I've never seen a car that wouldn't aesthetically benefit from it. Especially AWD cars.

Yes, it will look like a million dollars rolling around, if you don't it may look funny especially with the GT3 front. You can get cheap H&R springs, we had those on ours and they rode great but if I would re-do it I'd coin up for some real coilovers.

Here's a very expensive but beautiful option.

^^ My favorite option is all stock with GT2 skirts, and nothing else, maybe except a drop.

Also to the op, Akrapovic makes one of the best sounding exhausts for the 997.2.

YouTube - Porsche 997 Carrera S with Akrapovic Titanium Exhaust

YouTube - Porsche 997 Carrera Akrapovic

An Akropvic, GT2 skirts, a suspension, maybe an ECU upgrade and a few other minor things and that car would be perfect.

Ok. I'm now leaning more toward the Techart SS and front lip. I'm also going to look into a drop. I havent lowered a car since highschool when we cut the springs on my civic lol any recommendations on how much of a drop on this car looks good. Note: I'm not looking to plow snow. I want a decent drop that makes the car look good...not ricey.

Thanks all

pcgt16yo: OP asks about skirts and you recommend a diff car (or parts of a car that would cost the difference) and still has the same skirts. then you go onto exhaust and ecu? c'mon....
