I dont see how you dont love the way the Turbo S drives and handles. Its (arguably) the best car made.

If its the look - ok - you can modify it, or sell it and rethink your options and build. I think it looks pretty hot and sexy.

To all the posters who asked if the car was test driven before purchase....I dont know about you, but my area dealers never had one of these in "stock" to test drive before I paid for it. My first time driving the Turbo S was off the lot after I wrote a big check. These arent cars that are readily available....just yet.

I find it hard to test drive any 911 porsche that's not a Carrera, S or 4S.

I did test drive my first 997.1 Turbo - dealer called me because the customer backed out of the deal - so he let me put 5 miles on the car.

 

^^^sorry to disagree it's not the best car made. I love Porsches and the Turbo of any sort would be my last purchase out of their fleet. Boring and useless unless you continue to get your jollies off of short little bursts of speed between shifts. Add 3000 RPM's to the gauge and you might have something of interest.

Car is pretty without a question but I would have been bored as hell after 5 miles so I'm guessing Jaime likes it twice as much as me.

Keep it Jaime it's a great cruiser for around town or sell it to me...I'll hold my 95k offer for 24 more hours.

 

^^^ I drove a 996 Turbo a few years ago and it's all I think about still to this day. I'm sure if I drove a Ferrari Scud or CS I wouldn't think about the Turbo again. But in Jamies case he has a 16M and CGT, this car is perfect for daily use and you wouldn't have to worry about it in the parking lot as much as you would the other cars.

 

I thought I was nutz, Jamie makes me feel sane. Nice car though haven't heard anyone complain about the Turbo S

It's a great car, however the interior is totally not me. It's too flashy/rapper/pimp for my likings.

Still Congrats however.

I can't imagine you keeping this car for over 3 weeks.
