Mini George did you and your DAD heed my warning about your tire not being Z rated anymore........You didn't respond to this!

Also as stated in the other Speedster thread the window will have to be different to maintain true Speedsteresk following otherwise MiniG I agree it looks too much like the normal cabs

What's "almost tragic" about a flat tire?

Well, if he would have kept going, the wheel and part of the undercarriage could have been destroyed, if that's not the case, they could have needed a whole new tire.

It usually goes along the lines of get flat, stop, repair, go on merry way. Nothing cataclysmic about a flat.

Accept the fact that we would have been towed over 100 miles to get it fixed/new tire.

All is well though Porsche of monterey put on some new tires.

Did you think about hitting up the Porsche Zentrum at Quail Lodge? It's right off of Carmel Valley road up around where they are going to auction for Bonhams(sp?)!

I test drove the new Cayenne TT; crazy fast and sporty. Also test drove an 911 4S up Laureles Grade which ain't far. Trust me on that one! Put the words Laureles and Grade into a GPS and drive it a couple of times; you will really enjoy yourself.

And if you really make it to Quail Lodge ask for Sasha inside the building and tell him Nordic Metallic Turbo Tim sent you. He can configure any Porsche you like.

Glad for the happy ending (trip not being totally ruined). It was fortunate that a competent tire repair guy was within striking distance. Love the car AND the wheels. One of these days I'm taking the Porsche plunge.
