PDK Clutch Upgrade ( Update ) from Champion Motorsport

TS,

After countless hours of testing and 3 different friction materials on the clutch plates we are proud to say that we are very close to releasing our PDK clutch upgrade.

(Operation)
The new Porsche PDK gearbox is an extremely sophisticated package that relies heavily on the use of electronics in order to monitor the activity and parameters of its inner workings. With that being said, there is a fine line that has to be walked in order to achieve OE driveability while creating a friction plate that will hold the power levels that our CMS power kits can achieve.

Each and every CMS product is tested to the highest standards and released only after the seal of approval is granted.

Now for the fun stuff

I'm just aware that the PDK made the 530hp Porsche Turbo S capable of doing

62mph (100km/h) in 3.0 seconds
125mph (200km/h) in 10.1 seconds

imagine 800 hp with the PDK

I'm waiting to hear more reports on the issue. I know Car and Driver got a 2.9 Second Zero to Sixty MPH out of a supposed stock, PCNA supplied, car for testing. Don't know if Porsche supped up the car like Chevrolet was doing with the ZR1 back in the 90s when they let the magazines test them.

Would not be surprised at all if I hear accounts of the S going sub 3 Seconds.
