So after some trial and error we have found the special combo for the 997.1-997.2 LED taillight swap.
If your 911 is 2005-2008 You will need the 2009-present front and rear control unit. You will also need to shave a small portion if the factory tail light connector attached to the rear wiring harness. You will not need a adapter plug. All the wiring lines right up and locks in securely. As stated in other peoples threads you will need to swap the No 14 to 34 and 6 to 21 in the front control unit(black) connector. But for those who were getting tail light warnings and the instrument cluster was flashing too fast you will need to swap pin (front)No 11 to 36, and pin (rear)42 to 31. You will also need to code the front and rears to accept LED's.
We chose the factory clear lights as well as a factory 2010 Turbo rear bumper that they had to pull off the assembly line.
I hope this info helps!!! I will attach pics in a few.

Perhaps that will help:

Hardware: Part.-No.
997 618 513 01 Front, sits on the left under the luggage compartment cover
997 618 260 08 Heck, sitting under the driver's seat.
coding:
If these modules have been installed, the PZ can activate the option LED (EVERYWHERE) using piwis.
Reversing:
The plugs of the two modules are located under the fairing on the left of the trunk, a blue (rear control unit) and a black (front) plug. The following pin assignment has helped me:
Blue connector: pin 11 to 36, 42 to 31
EVTL. (!) ADDITIONALLY REQUIRED; TEST:
Black plug: 14 to 34, 6 to 21
TIPS:
The holders of the PDC sensors must be taken from the old apron. Are only glued.
If you want to screw the skirt perfectly, you need the holding plate of the facelift apron.

Hello,
After a 09er turbo on the orig. Facelift taillights, the new taillights after engine start have switched off completely, only with ignition switched on everything OK. This is normal and is located at the control unit. The car has the new control unit (part number ends on 08), which can be recoded on LED by the PZ. As ab converted into the PZ and rear module on LED.
The taillights now gave a permanent light - great!
However, error messages flashing left, right .... and in the instrument cluster it flashes too fast.
In the bow was synonymous switched to LED and again (correct) on light bulb back-did not bring everything.
Of course, error memory cleared, wagon finished between, etc.
I then drove home in the belief in the function of the functioning blinkers.
Already on the way I noticed that the blinkers, however, as soon as the engine is running, stop flashing again.
Front and side went at least and light behind the car was nevertheless an improvement as without coding.
Well, yesterday, the rear turn signals suddenly worked again, but the front no more ... Hours later worked then only the side.
The PZ can apparently no longer code, as happened.
Possibly. Stop monitoring, does it work?
Or include resistors ...?
Would not necessarily have to buy one of the completely overpriced and certainly unnecessary LED control units, have nevertheless the new control module and others have without such problems on Facelift taillights.
Am grateful for any help !! : Florist:
