We were on a freeway. Actually, the Tollway. Wide open. No worries. We shut it down then. Driving this car at 140 is different. Waaaay different.

It was impromptu. I made a threat to him at the gun range this morning. He is a good buddy. We needed to go racing after shooting a few paper Bin Ladens.

Not to rain on your parade here, but please tell me your child was not really with you when you did this. Have you lost your mind?

There was zero risk of problems. I would not do that ever. I do understand the worries.

Street racing, 140(+?)mph, child in car... awful idea.

I agree. Saw it coming and the point has been well made.

Don't beat it like a dead horse.

Unless that dead horse is fraternizing with Jox.

She was in the car when we did the standing start to about 80. She was shopping when we went on the freeway. I was discussing the cars and didn't see the need to clarify the rest of our shopping, etc. People were making assumptions without all facts, and I understand that, not.
