matte or shiny black

no gloss black wheels on any color. matte black or satin at most.

Agreed. Gloss black on Basalt would look sharp. If your car was Atlas or Meteor, I would go with matte.

Gloss black looks best. And that's how they come from the factory if you order them too. (Porsche, Lambo & Ferrari all do glossy finishes.)

I don't have any more with the satin black P40's. I sold them the next day after that pic. I will post pics of my new wheels as soon as the weather breaks.
