Impressed

Went to the dealer today to check out the 997.2 TT PDK

was impressed; so much so, that I am thinking of getting one

damn, so many cars that I need in my garage

Anyone have significant seat time in the new model?

My only question is this: Where do you guys go to enjoy the Turbo's immense performance?

Before I bought my C4S, I was convinced I would buy a Turbo (2009). Then I test drove it. In the area I live (Northern VA near DC) there is NOWHERE I could get past 3rd gear at high RPMs before I'd be in jail. If I still lived in SoCal, I could have fun here and there, but there is too much law enforcement, terrible drivers, etc. to make use of a Turbo. Hell, I can hardly stretch the C4S' legs without getting REALLY nervous. And yes, radar detectors are illegal in VA.

I envy you guys - if you can, then you must. I'm waiting to see a 2010 Turbo in Atlas Gray on the centerlocks.

Chris, It's simple...

And here:

And of course, here:

and a little bit from here:

Owning this car is a real joy, but if I didn't drive it at roadcourse events, I would never appreciate its performance and power... Not a chance I'd drive it hard on public roads, for fear of tickets and jail!
