Interesting to see how the "shortage" of new turbos is already moving prices for used turbos up.
Just reseasrching my trade-in value. I bought my used '08 tt with 9K miles last June for $98K retail. Current trade-in value for "good" not excellent condition and now 18K miles from KBB is $94K, retail it shows $108K. I doubt any of these values can acytually be achieved int he market but none the less it is a lot more than I expected.

I had same dilemma. I have a feb build or i could have got a may build for an S. I opted for the feb build because 1) i couldn't wait, and 2) these prices are getting ridiculous. my turbo cab spec'd out to $167k (w/o ceramics). while no pricing is out yet for the S, to spec it the same would be $20k more I believe, for which i would be getting 30 more hp and ceramics. for me, not worth it.

^ Exactly. Whenever you buy a car you know that they will bring a new model/variant out which is faster.
If you decided to do any of those 3 i would go for option 3. Who knows who may not like the Turbo S as much and who knows it may cost 10-20 grand more.
