about 9ff I can say some things....as my ex gt2 was build there.
In my opinion Fatthauer is cleaver guy and very good engineer.
He developed many solution that tuners copy after him. He developed cams, compressor wheels,pistons, conrods whatever you want.
There is one problem 9ff work style is not good enough for me, but I'm pedant.
9ff use water spray on the coolers and it to the intake system too.
My ex gt2 was running with both spray, was working perfect in combination with ice.
regarding to the coolers, they are very very important piece of turbo car
One more question to US tuners, why German ecu guy is working for one of your greatest tuner? His name is Schindler. This guy was responsible for pdf development.
and another,how many of US tuners is able to run 997 tt/GT2 without maf's ?

As i always said...They r the fastest on magazines LOL!!
I know a guy sent his 996tt to 9ff and it comeback after 2 years...It has 920hp kit with water spraying shit on I/C's ( it cost him 7000 Euro ) ..He claimed that his car is FAST and it ran :-
100-200 : 4.7
100-300 : 14.9
Those numbers on VBOX and he promised that he will show us his file but he didn't...We even didn't see the car!
I heard it is went KABOOM!!

Fatthauer knows the limits of these mega high hp engines and talks freely about number of hours they can run at load before extensive and expensive rebuilds.
Problem is a lot of customers are seduced into thinking a 900hp Poersche engine will be as reliable as a factory tuned engine and get upset when they need a rebuild when the KABOOM is warped cylinder heads and oval liners. This is why other Euro tuners do not like to build such high hp for the future problems which always end up reflecting badly on the tuners.
That Alzen race 997tt runs ~750PS reliably at around 1 bar and when RS build 700PS road engines the boost is kept near 1 bar with 4.1/2 litres high compression and Secan intercooling they can last like factory but BIG $$$$$$$.
