Will the 2010 Turbo?

Be a reliable car on the racetrack? Will it be as stong? I feel the lack of the dry sump will be a disavantage.

I think the recent gen turbo's have not been track oriented and that is fairly obvious with the initiatives Porsche is taking, making the car very DD friendly and compliant. I'm sure it will be a more than capable DE/occasional track-day car with some suspension modding, but for full-time track use this is the wrong car anyway.

If you want a track turbo, get an '09, or any '07-'08-'09 and have at it. Best of the best from an engine standpoint.

No worries though, I don't think you will encounter too many issues with that gorgeous GT2

Skip the Turbo and just go get a MkI 997 GT3 if you plan on tracking it a lot. If you're only planning on doing a few track days a year, forget the worries and go pick up a new 2010.
