I love all the new 997 features - PDK, Direct injection, that funky active suspension etc. I only have 2 wishes. (1) The stock internals AND PDK can handle 700 crank, (2) Porsche massively overproduces them and resale drops like a stone! (my next new pcar is going to be used )

Wow, and it did it with such ease! PDK+sport chrono sure does some great work for launching a car!

It's bizarre. LOL
Cuz thats what people expect from Porsche? Porsche does the best sportcars in the world and has been doing that for a long time (my opinion). When a new 911 arrives people expect it to be faster then its rivals, maybe thats the reason why people reacts more when a ferrari beats a Porsche?

I love our Porsches!

But as for 997tt getting dizzed ... got challenged by a RX-7 last night on my way to dinner with wifey. Came up on my right, then switched over to my left. He let is blow-off valve pop all over me. Very embarrassing ... felt violated ... people show no respect to the 997tt

My wife took the 997tt to work the other night and got chased by an F-150, constantly revving the engine and letting his exhaust howl ...

Porsche .... embarrassing higher powered sports cars for 6 decades.

Holy crap! I was like "Ehh, what's the big deal?" until I read the gauge. This year's award for most undramatic but holy-fark-tastic acceleration goes to . . .

the biggest problem with 911 is it's weight in balance. straight line, its big engine really puts the power on the tarmac. i'd sure hope porsche can figure out a way to put the engine before the rear axle.

Exhibit A. A RWD / Rear Engine Porsche versus a RWD / Front Engine Viper
