I'm curious on why you guys didn't open the oiling holes up on the rod journal. on a car that gonna constantly be spun that high, the extra supply of oil at the journals would be beneficial to either chamfer the oiling holes or to machine a slop to make a gradual opening into the journal face.
the knife edging looks nice though
good work,

More on that topic will be discussed in the near future...
Yes, sir! Come to Texas and check it out!
You make a good point if we were using OE journal specs, bearings and rods. Since all have been upgraded/modified/changed this topic has already been addressed in the design of all the components working together, not just the individual parts.

Evoms, The bar has no limits i guess. I am in love with the billet crankshaft, the lightening process realy helps the tachometer run up the rpm's freely with less rotational weight. I applause you guys as always. Congrats on the new parts. Any new lighter billet connnecting rods in the works ?

Everything in this motor will be lightweight and balanced for high RPM.
Turbos arrived today, the clutch package is complete, the second parachute is being assembled, the cams are done, the HANS device is ready... we just have to see who pulls the short straw to be behind the wheel of this MONSTER.

To answer some questions publically that we have been receiving surrounding this project:
- Yes, we will have packages for both 996 and 997 Turbos
- This kit is a 4.05l package, so it is over 4.0l that we advertise
- This kit adds to our arsenal of engine builds; 3.8l, 3.9l, 4.05l
- All of these different kits have a different ultimate goal. Please give us a call if you are contemplating an engine build so we can mate the driver and application up with the proper engine package.

A little late on the updates here but better late than never. The car is officially running and spitting fire We were breaking it in on the dyno last night and all I can say is this thing is NASTY!!!! We have more street tuning to do but the WOT tuning is done for now. With 2 bar of boost and low timing, we are well into the 1200 AWHP and 900 AWTQ range at a 7200 RPM rev limit We will ease into the higher revs after some more miles on the engine but at 7200 RPMS, the power is climbing strong. The TQ curve is completely flat from 4800 RPMS to redline. Should be interesting on the street and track. More info will be released shortly
