Struggling with this vs TT Cab....really enjoy top down and the throaty noises of the Porsche, but this was really...well, I'm speechless.

with the V10 coming soon are they willing to deal below sticker?

resale-wise you will take a nasty hit on this I'd imagine...

that said there is something about the R8 that I'm obsessed with. Tough choice.

The 10 cyl will be here this fall. Most dealers are getting premiums over list. I'm not their customer. I could make a deal on this one for under list, as the dealer has driven it a bit. But it was nearly flawless. The interior carbon was a bit too much plastic for my taste, surround the door pull, up the cluster and back down, and actually made a good bit of noise on the test run. For this money, they should cover the rear console completely in leather. Otherwise, I found no flaws with this beast.

Yeah, I could see it in the driveway. But not at sticker. And with the new '10's around the corner, I'm sure like many Audi models, values will plummet.

We have an A8L in the fleet, and the car is awesome for a cruiser, but the values dropped like a meteor over the past 3 years. Sucks, but still a great car.

I would not expect them to drop as severely on the R8 being low production numbers, but still a good drop first few years.

So who owns one here and can comment about it?

I really want to like these cars...but I just don't. I've seen them in person and they just feel like they will look dated in no time...just my 2 cents.

The TT cab will be a classic you will enjoy for many years...
