rahul.....would buy outright, and sell the C4S Cab. Problem is, can't find what I would want in 'new' inventory, and so far, not much in 'used' either. Not much left allocation wise with dealers, other than a summer build GT3 from what I've seen. And if a dealer had a build available now, it would have already been spec'd, I'm sure. Also, thus far, no dealer has stepped up to offer something out of the ordinary. Frankly, the one or two offers I've had to get a new one were weak, at best. Not to say there aren't some great dealer folks here and elsewhere who are trying to help me, but the numbers are still not where I'd expect them to be. But I'm patient.

Appreciate it. Still hopeful, not desperate, can wait.

I've seen several R8's around the SoCal area and just can't seem to warm up to the looks. I certainly don't mean to offend anyone but to me it kind of looks like an attempt at something that didn't quite pan out. Stick with the Porsche turbo, it's a great driver that has the mojo.

The R8 looks too much like a TT.

I agree with ron

In all seriousness though, your gonna be happy with either one I bet. Early congrats on whichever you end up with. Personally, I like the R8... it's just soooo pretty.

Eric, I love my R8, it is a great car and you would be very happy with it... as long as you don't miss the drop top to much. As a matter of fact I just took it out for an hour or so tonight... it is a great ride!!!
