CARFAX: #W902 Voluntary Service Action - TURBOCHARGER VTG

Hey guys,

I just ran a carfax on a 2007 997TT and everything looked clean except for:

Sorry to sound so stupid but can anyone inform me what this is? How severe is it? Also, since it is listed on the Carfax, does that mean the issue was resolved?

Thanks for the help guys!

Thanks for the quick replies.

Can anyone who has had this done give a little more information. Is this something that would prevent you from purchasing? Also, is this something Porsche would fully cover?

Oddly, this 997TT doesn't mention anything about an existing warranty. Raul, shoot me a PM

At least it looks like a pretty quick and easy fix. Shouldn't be too serious but still worth getting done, obviously.

If the car is in the window for the warranty which is 4yr/50k miles then it will be covered, same as any other TSB/warranty item. If it's a CPO car warranty becomes 5yr/100k miles. Unless the car is salvaged or has been modified, as long as it's got under 50k miles it's got warranty.

Unfortunately the dealer messed something up...

If somethings too good to be true, it probably is.
