Yes, these are directional.
72 vein, curved design, for impressive heat management.
High heat capacity, superior heat dissipation.

So, better than the cross drilled for heat dissipation? What size to replace 996 TTS PCCB's for track use?

The cross drilled version is only available for the 330mm disc for the 996 TT with steel brakes.

The PCCB option for the 996 TT uses the 350mm disc diameter with 72 vein design.

So the answer to your inquiry is that you will be using the 350mm disc.

For non-PCCB 996 TT's
:

The 48 vein disc is also directional and curved, and features a wide air gap which helps to increase the air volume through the disc. That happened to be the optimal design we found during testing for that diameter, thickness, annulus.

The reason we only offer the drilled version for the 99TT, with the stock 4-piston calipers, is because we do not offer a rear upgrade at this time. Our feedback was that the majority of the consumers would want the setup to match aesthetically with what they would have in the rear. The Brembo discs are cast, and the drilling is done during the second stage. The drilled holes are in a specifically engineered pattern where they do not penetrate the vein structure and compromise the structural integrity, the hole diameter is based on the thickness of the disc plates, and the number of holes is chosen to allow for optimal cooling and refreshing of the disc and pads without increasing the chance of stress cracking and fatigue. The result is a drilled disc without the common misconception or increased chance of premature cracking.

For those of you with a 996TT, with 4-piston calipers, there are options to be able to use the larger 350mm disc with the Type 3 slot pattern if you are aggressively tracking your car.
For spirited street driving and the occasional HPDE or track day, the 330mm discs have proven to work exceptionally well and offer at least 2 x's the life of the OEM discs.

Does your GT3 have the PCCB option or the steel brakes?

PCCB = 380mm discs
Steel = 350mm discs

We offer the 2pc. fully floating discs for either option.
These are an incredible upgrade with all of the benefits I listed above.

Another option if you want to go beyond just the 2pc. disc upgrade is to go with a full Big Brake Upgrade...
But that's a whole different thread topic I'll get started soon.

The 2pc. discs are probably the biggest bang for the buck, and offer the best ROP (Return Of Performance), dollar for dollar.
The BBK's are the next level up the performance food chain and geared more towards the person who is truly dedicated to getting to that next level.
