Wow! I wonder how it'd compare to a Porsche "track" series car like the GT3. I wonder why Nissan used the Turbo as their bench mark and not the GT3? Great video BTW!!!

Probably because the GT-R is just the base model, like the 911 Turbo. If they want to compare it to the GT3 they'll make sure the playing field is even, i.e.- run the GT-R Vspec against it... (kind of like comparing apples to oranges)
