A running pictorial of my new project B9R from BBI

You will remember my first project as:
BBi Project's Progress

On the current set up the car made 620rwhp on C16 @19psi & 650TQ on stock bottom end (Dyno Dynamics, the most conservative dyno in US). This number will translate into much higher HP when compared to Mustang dyno and Dynojet (projected estimation of 660rwhp & 690 TQ). The car ran a best 6.14sec @19psi from 60-130 and a best 1/4 mile of 10.89sec @ 133mph with a 1600 DA.

I had to re-name this project to make it personalized. B9R: B=BBi, 9=900HP, R=Art. After sitting down with Betim @ BBi and deciding on the best option for my 996tt, we aligned our goals to move up the power a few notches in order to preserve the engine with the addition of the following:
2 Piece flame ring kit
Carrillo Rods
Head Studs (New innovation by BBi)
Carbonetics triple carbon
Modified Injectors
A pair of 044 fuel Pumps
Generation GTXX Turbos from Tialsport
Modified Heads
Modified Cams
Modified Valve Springs
44mm Wastegates
BBi custom modified headers
BBi custom exhaust
Modified Cams plus GT3 synch ups
Ceramic coated modified cage
Zeitronix LCD monitor
Modified IC's
New modified Y pipe by IPD Mike
BBi Coil Packs (New design)
Modified Axles (Compliments of Vivid)

The project will begin next week by removing the engine and starting the head work. I will post pictures of the build weekly to keep you all posted.

We decided to go with GT3 heads and cams instead of port/polish heads, more surprises on the way. Pics coming next week.

RSR cams? A NA motor is completely different from a turbo charged motor as far as the lift and duration goes. In addition the cams for the GT3 heads/cam housings have a different number of pointers than a 996 turbo. How are you handling this? In addition, if you are modifying the GT3 cams, make absolutely certain the weld metal used is the same type Porsche uses otherwise you will flatten your lifters. The only other way you can go is to make your own lifters.

You are playing in a very tricky area.
