Porsche 997.2 Turbo LED Tail Light Conversion
#15
If you have a earlier model 997 (up to the June-July 07), you'll need to replace a control unit.
If you have a 997 built after late 07, you'll neeed a harness adapter and the LEDs and it should be plug and play.

Just curious, are they going to protect the rest of the car at all during this? I notice so much exposed finish, we usually bag the entire car when we do small jobs like this, then open it up only where needed. This avoids material going where it need not go, and light surface damage to other parts of the car. I would assume they'd remove the bumper cover to paint, but not sure based on the progress shots.
Very cool mod though. GL with the final.

Great question. Don't really have an answer on the exposing part. Yeah the bumper is going to be taken off for paint.

Parts cost $900, expect $2000-$3000 in paint and labor.
To have LED tail lights on your Turbo, even before Porsche has released them
PRICELESS!!!
