While I was looking for a Cayenne exhaust, a little birdy just told me that RSS actually supplies EVO - I thought they (EVO) made their own stuff??

Anyone know what's going on over there?

We do purchase our Cargraphic components through RSS as they are the US importer.

 

RSS / Stuttgart offer a variety of services including product R&D, production of all kinds of machined parts etc. powder coating, you name it, all with the equipment in house, its quite a first class operation over there and I highly suggest a visit or attend their open house (assuming there is another one this year?) if ever in town.

They make parts for a number of companies in the automotive aftermarket arena.

 

Gregg at RSS is the man. He and the company are great!

 

Does that really surprise anyone. I have never found that anyone is the best at everything, Especially given all the costs involved with research. developing and testing. It's really nice to see that a company like EVO realizes this and is able to choose what they do best while using others where they see a good product that can save money for their overall builds.

It's called giving their customers the best at the lowest costs.

We have done the same with our own project. Spent alot of money designing our own in some cases and using parts from others.

I am proud to say that EVO has provided some parts to our KA project where if we had done the work ourselves it would have cost us more money with no guarantee that the parts would have been any better.
