Performance mods?

Hi guys

I'm close to pulling the trigger on a 2002 996 Turbo. I've found the stock car that I wanted cause I plan to mod it myself

Visual mods aside, what do u think is the best aftermarket performance tuner out there?

I really do have only two in mind, I was wondering if I could get a general concession from all the experts here.

I would ask whether you have support in your location for said upgrades. I would go with the package that is best supported locally as you will have issues eventually.

My vote is purely based on what I've seen on teh Internet so you can take it with a grain of salt. Never dealt with anyone of them.

I went ahead and edited your poll to include the "other" category just so you could get an idea of how many folks would use niether Evo or Proto.

If I had to choose between Evo and Proto it would definitely be Proto. But there are a lot of up and coming tuners out there that are hungry, aggressive and who still hand make all of their own parts.

Check out Betim at BBI Autosport. He is a TS Strategic Parnter. His username is BBI Autosport (imagine that). I have had great results working with Betim and he will do anything and everything to make your car the best. I am not slamming anyone elsed - Proto and Evo both do great work. I am just saying that there are other - interesting and lesser known - options!

Good luck brother.

Bump for Betim at BBI. He just started doing work for my car. I must say that he is a bundle of knowledge and really does great work. One of the few tuners that can do every aspect of tuning all in house. I am impressed with them so far.
