I just don't like the way the front spoiler aligned with the rest of the front bumper, why can't they mold the double front spoiler as one part with the front bumper while retaining the hollowed part, is it for active aerodynamic purpose (movable front spoiler) ?
Also on the back. While on the 458 the rear brake lamp is covered in triangular manner, on the 488 the inner part is straight. Is it because the part behind the glass cover (the one with ferrari text) is also a moving part ?
They only say "The broad, low tail is also dominated by aerodynamic solutions, including an innovative blown spoiler which generates downforce without increasing drag. This works in conjunction with an aggressive ramp angle for the diffuser which features active flaps."
I like it really. But the front bumper still looks horrible. Always when I see it, I have to think on the Gallardo. I would prefer the 458 Speciale Design when it comes to the front bumper.
I cant wait to see it on track and with the right wheels. The interior is a joke, but I guess the 458 customers liked it so they leave it at that.
But I think the 488 has great potential. I hated the 458 at the beginning. Just in the few last 3 years I start to like it.
