According to Jamal Hameedi, Head of Development Performance Vehicle Ford:
One reason for the V6 is the weight. There is no electric motor powering the front axle, as there is in Porsche's 918 Spyder, and neither is there one in the back. Ford didn't want to sacrifice low weight for heavy hybrid components like motors and batteries. His team was obsessively anxious to reach one of the best power to weight ratio of any car on the market.
That would mean about 2 kg / hp, or about 1,200 kg empty weight. And also explains why a hybrid drive as an option to retire early: "Too heavy".
please,...stfu finally..!

Rob99 has a little shameless behaviour in the past
Motor Trend announced the winner of its 2011 Best Driver's Car competition.
.......Ferrari 458 Italia
took the top honors lapping at California's Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, instrumented testing and street driving.
... probability because the 458 is heavy as a tank but 1000 electric hp to compensate, or excellent engineering.
-
Porsche 918 - 6:57.00 Nürburgring Nordschleife, hybrid, 1642 kg [3620 lbs], 887 hp
Porsche 956 - 6:11.30 Nürburgring Nordschleife, ICE, 820 kg [1808 lbs], 640 hp
-
It makes the impression, some wind power engineers are unemployed and integrate their technology into automotive vehicles.
Waiting for plug-in functinality of hybrids will be replaced by integrated small nuclear plant.

Hybrid Cons
- Higher curb weight
- Lower average power and performance, because total system power only available, when its batteries are charged
- More technology build in, more complex systems, more parts can fail, reliability comes down

... and yes Munich, the 195/50R20-215/45R20 wheel i8 is crap!

You better post your unobjective comments elsewhere.

Aerodynamic Rocks!
Beauty is Efficiency and Vice-et-Versa
But 488 means a kind of evolution from 458...
Next step might be lighter weapon for same power!
More is not needed on road
