Thinking about painting my 458 rocker panels

Guys I'm thinking about color matching the lower sections of the rocker panels beneath the doors of my current 458. I'm sure you have seen they typically come spec in Black. Here is a photo of how it would look if color matched. Does this reduce my resale value? Do you like it?

Let me know your thoughts...

Hi,

I think Brobbins is saying it will effect resale, and he doesn't like it.

Kind of seems like going backwards if you ask me.

red rocker panels makes the car look lower, I like single color cars

I think it looks much better in one color, but not sure how it would affect resale value. Good luck in your decision!

The body coloured version is the standard finish. If your car has the contrasting grey or black lower sills then that was a cost option from the factory (code PEXS) so it would be crazy to paint it IMHO.
