Looking to install a complete exhaust system on my 430 Scud
Hello All,
As the Topic says, I'm looking into installing a complete exhaust system for my Scud. Their are 3 companies that manufacture systems for the Scud,
1- Fabspeed
2- Capristo
3- Tubi
I have done some research and couldn't really tell which one is best, or which one i should go with. Any ideas will be helpful.
Thx

For me there is only one exhaust company that is worth putting on any ferrari. Kreissieg exhaust!!
I had a capristo exhaust fitted to my f430 a couple of years back and to tell u the truth, I was kinda disappointed at the sound. Don't get me wrong, it was loud but I wasn't looking for a loud deep bassy sound. I was looking for those high pitch f1 sound and only kreissieg exhaust has em.
Whatever ur buying enjoy them in good health!
BTW I recommended a buddy to put kreissieg on his 612 and he never looked back!

Stock. The aftermarket exhaust gets old in like a week, then the initial euphoria is overshadowed by migraines and constant ringing in the ears on drives longer than 15min.
At least that's what happened to me.

I am not installing a complete exhaust system for sound purposes. I am actually looking to do so for increase in HP and lighter weight. For example, the Fabspeed package gets the Scud up to 499 WHP plus reduces weight by like 25kg. That's a significant change in the Scud, especially because it's already a very light car, weighing in at 1360kg

I understand, and what I was suggesting is the consequence of installing one for minor performance gain was too much for me. Perhaps you have a higher tolerance than I do and need the extra 10-20hp for the track, but I don't track mine, just spirited runs on Ferrari Racing Day events, so the marginal gain wasn't worth the added discomfort for me personally.
The butt-in-seat-dyno couldn't really feel the extra estimated 10-20hp either. You might need to do the full upgrade available from Capristo, so headers, sports cats and exhaust to really feel the gains.
Just my own opinion here not the law of the land.

If you want a performance mod you can feel and even hear, without any negative side effects, I recommend installing a set of BMC filters...
Car has noticeably less hesitation at lower rpms and you can literally hear the air suction (almost like a turbo spooling but not as loud) as you nail the gas pedal. Bmc claims at least 15hp just from the filters, I can only confirm this with my butt-in-seat dyno
It also increased the exhaust note, but not beyond my personal threshold lol.
