Did you have a 550 or 575? I am surprised to hear you didn't like it as its one of my favorite Ferraris as well. I would live to hear more as I don't have much first hand real experience.

I had a 575

It wasn't short on torque just no fun to throw anywhere.
Heavy into tight corners but grounded well for sweepers.
175mph felt like 55mph in a Lexus sedan.
Brakes were just ok but would slow her down quick enough.

The gearing was long so it felt sluggish from the start but flew 3rd gear up above 4500.

Id much prefer a 330gtc or 250 Lusso over one on 25 years

The 575 is by far the most amazing Ferrari i have ever driven, for a car that was produced in 2004, its gear change is pretty impressive, the brakes are astonishing, and the power it delivers is amazing! By far, I feel thats it the only Modern Ferrari with PERFECT weight distribution. I've driven a handful of Ferrari's, and we've owned several Ferrari's as well, the 575M is the only one that will never leave our garage

575 SuperAmerica. One of the few Ferrari's I've liked after the 355.
