This is a prime example of an enthusiast who loves his ride(s), and wants to share the joy simply for the sake of giving someone an opportunity to have a piece of that joy, for no more benefit than the thrill of it for all involved. righteous.

If you can't (or won't) share this stuff, what's the point. I have been fortunate enough to have had these cars since my late 20's, but sometimes you take them for granted. It's times like this that brings me back to my routes, and renews my enthusiasm.
Whenever I would run the Virginia City Hillclimb, there was always a group of locals standing near the start line, wanting rides. I always gave them. Those people were my heros, as there is no way I would get into a stranger's car (who I don't know their competency), when he is running a hillclimb
