A good guy and 458 owner, Russ Birch, gets all the credit for this, but if you are looking to totally transform the sound of your 458 in 20 minutes time, and without an expensive exhaust, then this is for you....

Simply drop the diffuser, and pull and then plug the lines. We used ten cent golf tees. No "Check Engine Light" comes on either. It takes about 20 minutes at the most.

Immediately upon firing up the car you will hear the difference. At idle it finally sounds like a Ferrari! And through the gears it sounds amazing, then letting off the throttle, with crackle and pop, the car sounds unworldly!

I will post some videos soon. It changes the personality of the car!

Nope.

If you know how it sounds when the flaps open a bit later in the rev range, well it just sounds like that all the time now. Very loud.

 

Because the 458 just doesn't seem right without a 20 cent golf tee.

 

Let's get the facts straight here Barrister man .... more like five cent golf tees!
