I would say he over heated the clutch. Engine reacted by not responding. Really a safety mechanism more than anything. While I don't like to buy tires myself unless on a race track this doesn't hurt a car.

Check the video at the end. Only one exhaust is shooting flames, seems like he screwed half bank.

The blue flames aren't an added Ferrari gizmo. It happens with stock 430's at certain temps. You just can't typically see it because most people drive hard in the daylight. So one flaming and not the other could just mean it was colder on one side vs the other. Not every 430 does it but a lot do.
