Is there a break in period? Im around 550 miles on the car, and it just doesnt seem all that fast to me? It might be me but Ive seen Vbox runs and vids etc where the car runs with 130mph cars, and mine just doesnt seem like it can.. Ive only really raced with my Porsche and in a 1st to 4th gear run the 458 doesnt pull the Porsche at all and having vboxed the Porsche I know it cant run with any 130mph cars..

You know what's funny Allan, I have never bought a really expensive car when I didn't think it should be faster.

Even my 997TT which - like your TT Gallardo was - is heavily modded and runs 585 hp to the tire sometimes just doesn't feel as fast as I think it should.

But then - if I don't drive it for a while - it will scare the shit out of me.

I think that we are just spoiled a bit.

 

I've heard anywhere from 800 to 1,500 miles. Generally new cars are ready to go from the factory. Maybe the loss of speed and power is starting to become apparent after going form a TTG to 458?
