In the video it is a little hard to pick up, but in person it is literally day and night! Gotta love FoS for being able to do this mod.

What a COOOL mod. I like stuff like this.

Was there a reprogram or is this just some sort of electrical bypass?

The easier and cheaper way to do this is to pull the vacumn hoses off the valves on the exhaust. Takes about 20 seconds and makes the exhaust permanently loud although your way is very neat and allows you to chose on the move to quieten it down.

My GT3 has a similar system with a remote that controls the factory flaps but I have the Sharkwerks bypass fitted so it can be fun and loud or quiet(er) and a bit more discreet/relaxing.

There's no vacuum tubes that's easily accessible in the Scuderia like the Challenge Stradale which is what prompted this whole thing in the first place. Besides it's very convenient to be able to turn down the system at will especially when driving home at night or in a place that needs "quiet driving."
