Hello.

This is our 3rd thread on R&D of our exhaust on TeamSpeed. (Panamera Turbo thread and Evora thread)
The Lotus Evora is near end of R&D, so we planned Ferrari 458 for next R&D.


Although there are some limits of what we can show it to public about details of our R&D procedure, I will make sure this thread will be full of media(lots of photos and videos) due to high interests of Ferrari 458 system.


This shows how we produce 1st prototype to check the fitment and exhaust sound quality.
Our final production are produced in the factory to ensure the quality control..



July 30th
This 458 arrived our shop today. This car is fresh NEW.
When I took the picture, this 458 is already getting some work done.
The owner wanted to lower the car first, so we are lowering the car little first today.

You guys never stop amazing me! Great color combo on the 458 and first time I have seen the diamond pattern seats!

 

Is the middle exhaust pipe functional? I see it is deleted on the Challenge 458.

i want a 458!!! so badly ... i thought it was ugly at first, now i just cant stop thinking of it! ...

 

Ferrari wouldn't do something unless it had a specific form and purpose, especially when it comes to performance or aero. So surely...

Car looks great, wasn't a fan at first but it seems to be growing on me.

 

I think only the middle exhaust stays open during normal driving to keep sound down then a valve opens up all three during "spirited" driving or dependent on the mode manetino is in.

 

I don't know what the heck is wrong with ppl- The Ferrari 458 is possibly one of the SEXIEST cars in existance.

I've spoken to 3 guys who ordered, saw it- and declined the car.

WTF?!

 

Some people just have taste

 

It's not that ugly it looks good on certain colours and the f430 looks much better and I like it more.
