[Kreissieg] Lotus Evora exhaust development progress!

Hello.

As we have posted Panamera Turbo exhaust development thread previously, I would like to also share our new R&D progress.

Yesterday, Lotus Evora has arrived to our shop for exhaust R&D.
This car is owned by customer who previously had KSG Lotus Exige system on his car.
I will post up the updates on weekly basis to show how we put our effort on the making the system.

This shows how we produce 1st prototype to check the fitment and exhaust sound quality.
Our final production are produced in the factory to ensure the quality control, mandrel bending and ect
.

July 5th
Lotus Evora arrived our shop for R&D.
It usually takes at least 30 days for us to come out with first prototype.
One mechanic concentrates on developing one system.

July 6th.

Evora is on the lift checking out few things as stock sound level and ect.
The exhaust tone is pretty tame because it's Toyota V6 with conservative exhaust line.(3 catalysts)

Due to emission issue, we planned to keep all three catalysts.

July 9th

We have decided the inner muffler design for close and open valve mode.
(Sorry we can not show the muffler chamber design)
We might change the diameter of the piping after we hear the sound.

Stock muffler is off.

You see the valve location in this picture.

KSG muffler for Evora.

Now time to start route the piping.

The muffler section is done. Now we are fabricating the tip section.
This is picture of inner piping of the tip.(not complete tip)

Now we are making Y pipe that goes between primary and secondary catalyst.

Sorry guys.
Because we were extremely busy, I missed out few shots of collector Y-pipes and ect.

The car is already finished last week.
Here are some photos.

I will post up the final production pictures/videos along with pricings and spec within few days.
The pictures will have detail shots of Y pipe, muffler and tip. So please be hold!

It's little milder sounding than our other exhaust due to Toyota's engine design.
But I still think it came out pretty aggressive. Suits the car's GT concept pretty well.
I will follow with the Press Release including price and spec within few days.

Enjoy!
