The R8 was a good car, but just not as high on my priority list as a Porsche or Ferrrari. I would pick up a V10 if a bargain came along. The 599 is just an incredible car altogether and in a league of its own IMO. I can't think of another car that compares to it at the $250K price tag. The GT2 is the perfect weekend track car that you take out and scare the shit out of yourself every now and to make you realize you are still an incompetent driver.

R8 looks wise is amazing it just isnt fast due to weight and lack of engine in the 8 cyl. I do however prefer the looks over any of the p cars as they have just gone stale on me they are old looking and I must say the R8 on the road feels more solid then any of the pcars did

This all having been said hope you keep that 599 it is sex on wheels as I mentioned earlier

If I was in your situation, I would keep the 599 because it can be driven daily, its comfortable very fast and not tiring. I'd get a Scuderia instead of the 458.

599= classic = V12 front engine F car... not to mention it is a serious gentlemans car, a 458 is entry level and you my friend are not entry level(not that I know much about you, but it sounded good) lol plus keep the 60k and go buy a nice rose gold royal oak automatic with the skeleton dial to wear in the 599... that would be my move

Why is everyone saying the 458 is entry level? What happened to the California? I thought that was the new entry level now?

As per the OP's question it is a tough call but I would probably wait it out on a scud version of the 458 or a GTO. On a side note, ever thought of going TT on a slightly used gallardo or LP560? It would be something new and different with a 1000hp

For some reason, the Lambos just don't do anything for me. I would rather have the 458.

Just add it to the stable! You might regret selling the 599. Was it you or am I thinking of another guy that had a Switzer tuned SLR? How did you like that compared to the GTB?

Agreed. And I would take a 458 over a Scud its stats are better and you have a GT2 but still stick with the 599.
